On March 11th, 1946, the world became brighter with the birth of Sandra Connie Lynn. While Sandy had to leave the world on November 18, 2021, at the age of 75, the light that she brought did not go with her. Instead, it has grown immeasurably and will stay with everyone and everything that had the privilege of knowing this beautiful and loving woman.

Sandy grew up on a farm in Pingree, Idaho with her parents Willard and Blanche Lynn. Her brave and courageous attitude always kept her on the move. Moving from Pocatello to Salt Lake to Bluff, this impactful woman left her iconic Sandy Lynn generous and sweet spirit everywhere she went. Sandy was an entrepreneurial power force, opening and operating a successful mortgage company and later working with her daughter at their bed and breakfast. She was very accomplished, but it’s who she was that we’ll miss the most.

Never wanting to be more than a moment away from being able to pet a cat, Sandy had a big love for nature and creatures. She loved her walks along the San Juan River where she could admire the trees, clouds, and birds. Those walks brought her peace and she loved herself some peace and quiet. Quiet settings are what she loved so that she could flex her intelligence and creativity. She loved a good puzzle to solve while listening to Alex Trebek quiz her knowledge on Jeopardy. She found so much beauty in the escapism of books, so much so that you wouldn’t see her for a few days and she’d tell you about the 5 books she’s read the next time you saw her. Just know the next time you’re solving a puzzle or reading a World War II novel, Sandy will be watching over you.

In her final years she developed an intense love for God, and He has welcomed her into his loving arms and her eternal home. She left so much love for this world and for her friends and family. Her love will be remembered and spread by: her daughters, Tonja Williams (Ron) and Christa Lott (Anthony); her grandchildren, Shae Jensen (Kyley), Raife Stewart-Myers (Zachary), Grayson Myers (Taylor), Quinn Evans (Justin), Zander Lott, and Josie Lott; her siblings Janice Nelson (Terry) and Jack Lynn (MaryAnn); her niece Nikki Nicolodemos (Tim) and her kids Nathan, Simone, and Trey; and her life-long friends LeeAnn Christensen and Kathy Thomas.

There aren’t many ways we could begin to express how much our mother, grandmother, sister, and friend will be missed but we hope our celebration of life for Sandy Lynn can get close to that huge task. Join us Monday November 29th at 6:00 PM at Shae and Kyley’s home, 2672 Field Point Circle, Sandy, Utah 84092.
