Rob Kaufman

1977 - 2023

Rob Kaufman

Rob lived for a challenge whether it was on the race track, in the mountains or on the open ocean searching for his trophy fish. Every obstacle was met with speed, strength and relentless determination. Most dream of packing into a full life time what Rob was able to experience in 46 years. Rob’s tenacious spirit persevered until his last day as he courageously battled against cancer.

Rob was born on September 11, 1977 to Dale ‘Butch’ and LeeAnn Kaufman in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rob grew up with a strong passion for adventure and unwavering dedication to achieve his dreams and desires, which followed him through his whole life. His relentless pursuit of excellence propelled him to master whatever he set out to experience.

In 1998, Rob met Rebeka and fell in love. In 2002, they married. Shortly after, Rob and Beka welcomed their beautiful children, Robbie and Elizabeth. Rob always modeled the value of adventure, independence, strength and a safe, loving home to his children. Rob constantly demonstrated care and devotion towards his family. His dedication to his loved ones was evident in all aspects. Rob and Rebeka’s zest for life led their family across the globe as they made memories traveling in Europe, New Zealand, the Caribbean and Rob’s most treasured location, Costa Rica.

Rob was always full of humor. Wherever Rob was, laughter soon followed. He loved to make others laugh and had a very quick wit. Rob had a long, successful career in the insurance industry and made lasting relationships with his many clients.

Rob is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Rebeka, as well as two beloved children, Robbie (21) and Elizabeth (18). Parents, Dale ‘Butch’ and LeeAnn Kaufman, siblings Jennifer Kaufman, Lindsay (Jeff) Kaufman-Foren, and Chris (Kaitlyn) Kaufman; and 10 nieces and nephews.
