Carla Ann Caldwell Richard

Carla Ann Caldwell Richard, 68, passed away April 21, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Carla was born December 15, 1955, to William Duane Caldwell and Alice Marie Balefske.

Carla enjoyed singing with her husband and siblings, she was the World’s Best Handywoman and a Janice of All Trades and loved anything to do with her grand and great grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping, and arts & crafts. She loved people and disliked them at the same time, but always had a smile and a hug ready for everyone.

She is survived by her dearest husband, Alphonse; children, Michelle (Troy), Angel (Jason), Alphonse “EJ” and Cecilee; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Teresa and Dennise (Michael); and brother, Steven (Kelly); many beloved nieces, nephews and grand pets along with her pal, Duke.

Carla is preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice; son, Anthony; sisters, Pat, Lorna and Diane; brothers-in-law, Don and Tony; 2 nieces; granddaughter, Katie and great granddaughter, Hadley.

There will be a gathering of family and friends for a Celebration of Life at her sister’s home in Lake Pointe on Friday, April 26th at 6:00 pm.
