Janice Rae Carlson Purser

Janice Rae Carlson Purser, 65, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away June 03, 2024 with her two companion animals she loved dearly by her side. Janice Rae was born January 19, 1959 to Russell Harry Carlson and Patsy Joyce Madil in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jan graduated from Skyline High school in 1977. She married Troy Purser, on May 11, 1989, they brought a beautiful daughter, Chellsea Jan Purser, into the world. They later divorced. The love she had for her was one of a kind.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Joyce Madil; father, Russell Harry Carlson; sister, Susan Kay Carlson and brother, Robert Russell Carlson.

She leaves behind a sister-in-law, Tami Naccarato Carlson; her daughter, Chellsea Jan Purser; grandchildren, Manuel Alexander Meza and Natalie Claire Purser; and her life-long friend, Duane Elliott.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Falcon Outdoor Pavilion located at 9200 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah, 84093 from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.
