Ronald “Ron” Stanley Shelby born in Flint, Michigan, on November 8, 1962 and departed this life on June 29, 2024, following a protracted illness. Ron was 61 years old. He was the second son of Donald Shelby, Sr. and Marion née Unangast. His parents proceeded him in death. The Shelby family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1968 and first lived in Bountiful, Utah.
Ron held many jobs during his lifetime including Pharmacy Technician in the United States Air Force Reserve; Emergency Medial Technician for Tooele County; Manage Café Parisien; Assistant Manger at Store 35 (Utah's original Wine Store) Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services, eBay at the Draper facility and as a Manufacturer's Representative for Alcoholic Beverages (Wine Broker).
Ron found satisfaction as the Kitchen Manager for Driggs Elementary School, Granite School District, where he prepared and served hundreds of meals to elementary school children on a daily basis.
Ron is survived by his spouse Alonzo Bernard Williams, a brother Don, Jr., several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends to mourn his passing.
Ron's spouse and close friends wish to thank the Intermountain Medical Hospital Teams in Murray, Utah, for the care and attention during his final days.
Ron did not wish for services to be held and his remains are to be cremated as he desired.
