Lori B. Howland (Buckley), aged 70, passed away on August 2, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on December 10, 1953 in Price, Utah, Lori was a beacon of kindness and generosity throughout her life, known for her charitable spirit and loving nature, albeit with a touch of stubbornness.

Lori graduated from Carbon High School and while she moved to Salt Lake City where she spent the remainder of her life, a piece of her always remained firmly rooted in Carbon County. She dedicated 40 years of her career to Intermountain Health, where she was respected and cherished by her colleagues.

Beyond her professional life, Lori was passionate about sewing, crochet, gardening, and enjoyed going for walks, which reflected her appreciation for life's simple pleasures. She was curious and loved to travel to new places, spending a lot of time discovering parts of Utah and the US with her sister and cherished trips taken with family to Ireland.

She is survived by her children, Amanda Howland (Wally Cromar), Justin Howland, Lynzee Spesert (Kelly); her sisters, Debbie Yarbrough and Becky Bowers; and two grandchildren. Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Vonda and Lawrence Buckley.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on August 23, 2024, at 1:30 pm at Chase Mill at Tracy Aviary, 589 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, a cause close to Lori’s heart. Lori's warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
