Mary Elizabeth Martin passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, in Murray, Utah, at the age of 60. Born on April 22, 1964, in Killeen, Texas, Mary was a cherished daughter of John and Fredericka Martin.
Mary graduated from the California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in archaeology. Her career took her many places, which spawned her love of travel.
Beyond her professional achievements, Mary was an avid traveler and found joy in exploring the great outdoors. She was also a talented cook, known for her culinary creations that delighted family and friends. Her zest for life and adventurous spirit were truly inspiring.
Mary is survived by her beloved daughter, Mina Gordon, her father, John A. and her brother, John F. Martin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Fredericka, whose memory she cherished deeply.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held at the Inner Light Center, located at 4408 S 500 East in Millcreek, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on December 7th. Family and friends are invited to gather and remember the joy and love Mary brought into their lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the ASPCA, an organization that Mary ardently supported.
Mary Elizabeth Martin will be remembered for her kindness, passion, and unyielding spirit. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
