Manuel Antonio Loubet, a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, in Draper, Utah, surrounded by his loving family. He was 78 years old. Manuel was born on August 14, 1946, in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, to Luis Manuel Loubet and María Encarnación Ruvalcaba Maldonado. He was the second youngest of eight children, being a few minutes older than his twin brother, Cesar. He cherished his family, honoring the memory of his late siblings, Lucila, Luis, Alberto, Hector, and Cesar, and maintained contact with his surviving sisters, Hilda and Guadalupe.

Manuel spent his career in service to others as a licensed vocational nurse at the California State Hospital, where he cared for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. His compassion and dedication to his patients were hallmarks of his character. Manuel was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having been baptized and confirmed on April 19, 1962. His faith brought him strength and comfort
throughout his life.

On June 11, 1983, Manuel married Cynthia Jean Bishop. While their relationship had its challenges, Manuel remained steadfast in his love and commitment to their family. Together, they raised four children: Anthony (Kira), Luis (Rachel), Robert, and Kathryn. Manuel was a beloved “Papa” to his eleven grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Manuel’s life was defined by his quiet humility, tireless work ethic, and deep devotion to his family. He made many sacrifices to provide for his children and took pride in their achievements and the families they built. He cherished simple moments, like looking through family photo albums, sharing a meal, or spending time with his grandchildren.

In his later years, Manuel faced significant health challenges with courage and resilience. Despite these difficulties, he continued to find joy in his family, creating memories that will be cherished by all who loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at 15351 N Benwood Dr, Moorpark, CA 93021.

Manuel’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and staff who supported him during his final months and to everyone who has shared their condolences and memories.
