Zachary "Zac" Budd Tueller was born on July 7, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to parents Travis Tueller and Gayl Sorensen. From the very start, Zac carried within him a bright spark—charismatic, curious, deeply passionate. He connected with people effortlessly, sharing his boundless enthusiasm for anime art and creative writing, and had a unique talent for drawing others into his vivid worlds of imagination.
Zac’s journey was not without its challenges, yet his courage and openness about his struggles became a source of strength—not just for himself, but for countless others. Through his own vulnerability and kindness, Zac helped many navigate their own difficulties, always with an empathetic ear and an encouraging word. His sensitivity was profound, his compassion unmistakable.
Family was at the heart of everything Zac did. His love and pride in his family were unwavering, guiding him throughout his life. He strived daily to make his grandparents, parents and siblings proud, to share with them his dreams, his creativity, and his victories, both big or small.
Zac is preceded in death by his beloved great-grandparents, Wilford and Peggy Tueller, and Budd and Dorothy Davis. He is survived by his grandparents Gary and Marilyn Tueller, Jean Dodds, his loving parents, Travis and Santos Tueller, Gayl Sorensen, and his siblings, Zoe, Ana, Jenny, Abigayl, and Aiden. His memory lives on as well in the hearts of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched deeply. In remembering Zac, let us celebrate the beauty he brought into this world, the warmth of his spirit, and the generosity with which he lived. He leaves behind not only cherished memories but also a legacy of hope, resilience, and compassion that will continue to inspire.
Interment will take place at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., where loved ones will gather to honor and celebrate Zac's life.
