Brian James Fleck

Brian James Fleck passed away peacefully on June 9th, 2025 at the age of 54, surrounded by his family.

Brian was born in Elmhurst, Illinois, on July 30, 1970. His family later moved to Park City, Utah where he grew up and found his passion for mechanics. He ran a couple of his own repair shops over the years in both Park City and Heber City. 

If he was not in the shop, he was out at a racetrack, derby, air show, skydiving, riding atvs or motorcycles, shooting guns, riding jet skis at the lake, or on a road trip (to fix someone’s car) or just being curious. Brian had a passion for learning and sharing his knowledge. 

Brian had a way with words; he was wise and creative with them and would talk your ears off for hours with his knowledge and love of all things. He was the gentleman who would give you the shirt off his back, willing to help anyone, even the stray cats. Brian lived life to the fullest and shared that spirit with everyone, making friends along the way no matter where he went. 

He is survived by: parents Robert and Sharon Fleck, son Conner Fleck, sister Tracy (Elden) Hawkes, one nephew, Alanna Garton, Jan Phillips, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Brian's life ended too soon. In typical Brian fashion, he was giving to the end as an organ donor, may his legend carry on.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th from 3pm – 7pm at 1300 Sullivan Road, Park City Utah 84060
