Our beloved mother and grandma passed from this world on July 17th, 2025 after her fragile body could no longer fight, she was 96.
Betty was born February 26th, 1929 in Del Norte, Colorado to Julianita Medina and Jose Valdez.
Betty is survived by her son Merle (Terrie) Smith, her grandkids Shanna (Mark Diaz), Jarren Smith and her great-grandkids Mya Smith and Jaimon Diaz.
Preceded in death by her husband Ken Harris, daughter Julie Smith and her siblings Henry, Beatrice, Rudy, Flora, Mary and Johnny.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 2nd at 2:00pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 1815 East 9800 South Sandy, Utah.
