Shelly M Anderson

Michelle “Shelly” Anderson, 61 of Taylorsville, Utah, passed away at her home in the late evening on August 4th 2025. Born on January 19th, 1964 in Provo, Utah.

Shelly lived a life of remarkable strength and faced unimaginable challenges, but she never gave up. As a single mother, Shelly embodied resilience and fortitude, navigating life’s challenges with an unwavering determination and a smile that lit up a room. Even when Shelly had stage 4 Small Cell lung cancer, she never gave up and kept fighting for her kids. Shelly married Kevin Halper on July 11, 2011 Bringing with him 3 kids, Nick, Amanda and Clayton.

Shelly had a beautiful passion for cooking, baking and mentoring her family in her field of expertise. There was no dish she couldn't put her own spin on and turn into a family delicacy. When it came to family, that extended to any dog needing a home. She loved her dogs more than anything, Any stray or adoptee held a special place in her heart, home, and family.

Shelly is survived by her Husband, Kevin Halper; Daughter, Krystal Cowley (Jason); Daughter Katelynn Anderson (Austin); Grandchild, Pidge Cowley; Granddaughter, Janae Cowley; Grandson, Kayson Cowley; and Granddaughter, Jemma Willie; Father, Paul Llewelyn; Siblings; MaryAnn (Bruce), Margie (Lloyd), Shelly (Kevin), Paula (Rob), Butch, Murry (Sandra), Jennifer and Whitney

Shelly is preceded in death by her Mother, MindaDee K Llewellyn and her Granddaughter, Peyton Cowley and many beloved dogs.
