Ruth Aileen Clayton-Mestas

On April 7, 2026, our beloved Ruth passed away, leaving this world to be with the angels. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 40 years, Daniel Mestas; daughters, Samantha and Candice; her six cherished grandchildren; sisters, Diane Leeann, Frances, Faye, and Anita; brothers, Arvil, John, and Cliff; stepmother, Sharon, and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and longtime partner in crime, Susann.

Ruth was the heart of every gathering. She loved surrounding herself with family and friends, often hosting lively celebrations where everyone was welcome and no one felt left out. She had a gift for making people feel at home-whether you needed advice, a shoulder to lean on, a meal, a helping hand, or simply need a good laugh, Ruth was always there.

Our lives are richer and more meaningful because of her love and presence. Though we feel her loss deeply, we hold onto the joy and memories she gave us. Until we meet again, we'll honor her the way she would want, with love, laughter and a round of shots for everyone.
