David Thomas Silvers

David Thomas Silvers (Tom) age 85, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on April 21, 2026.

Tom was born in Salt Lake City to Dave and Marguerite Silvers.

Tom started working at Sun Photo Service at age 11. He became a top salesman and later owner. He set an example of honesty and integrity in everything he did.

In 1978, he married his sweetheart, Ginger Hendry.

They enjoyed life side by side. Spending time at their cabin in the Uintah Mountains with family and friends. Extended trips in their Mini-Wini for fishing and camping were among their favorite activities. They also got to travel to Mexico, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong and Alaska.

Travel was fun but just the daily activities of going to lunch together and taking walks was amazing. Truly soul mates throughout their lives.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ginger; his daughters, Holly Riding (Brian) and Kelly Rolfe, granddaughters Amanda and Stacie, and cats Topaz and Ninja. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters, and his son, Brent.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date.
