Sylvia Faircloth Walker
Sylvia Faircloth Walker, 77, originally of Fayetteville, NC and most recently of Ogden, Utah, is now in Jesus’ loving arms.
As a child, she ran free among the trees, vines, and plants, true to her name, Sylvia, which means Forest Maiden. The youngest of 3, she adored her big sister, Ann, and big brother Albert. They were always outside having adventures in the woods as children in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Later on in life, she got married and moved with her now ex-husband, Ronnie Lyle Walker, to Idaho and then to Utah. There she had her girls.
She had a passion for all types of music and dancing, Elvis, especially and kept up with current trends too.
She helped so many people in her life.
She loved being a grocery store cashier when she was younger, later, working at IRS, delivering prescriptions, welcoming new neighbors, and as a Senior Companion among her many roles. She moved home to NC temporarily to take care of her mom in her last years and then moved back. Utah was always home, no matter where she moved, she always ended up back in her favorite state.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Roney Wood Packer, Burton Graiger Faircloth, her sister Lula Ann Faircloth Wilson, and brother Albert Murray Faircloth.
She is survived by her daughters, Ronda Walker Page, Carrie Walker Iverson, Melanie Walker; grandchildren Falecia Ann (Clayton) Beard, Mariah Carrie Iverson, Miriam Julia Page, Lydia Robyn Page, Jonathan Walker Page; great grandchildren William Noah Beard, Madelyn Vada Beard, Jameson Grey Beard; along with grand-kitty KitKat and many nieces and nephews.
Keep dancing in heaven, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma and Aunt, we love you always and forever!
