Golda Lynn Grier, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2026. She was born on October 13, 1957, to Melvin Lynn Adams and Golda Ada Drew.
Golda graduated from Davis High School in 1975 and spent her life caring deeply for those around her. She worked for many years in housekeeping at the Homestead Resort before retiring from Walmart in 2022. To many, she was affectionately known as “Grandma Walmart,” a name that reflected her warm heart, friendly spirit, and the lasting impression she made on everyone she met.
Golda was preceded in death by her husband Kent Leonard Grier her parents and her siblings.
She is survived by her loving children, Charles (Emily) Blair, Crystal Blair-Salazar, and Jennifer Grier-Pedersen. She also leaves behind her eight cherished grandchildren: Dakota, Dallas, Shaylynn, Miguel, Makayla, Casslynn, Colter, and Kaidence, along with six great-grandchildren whom she adored beyond measure.
Golda was truly a beautiful soul. Her kindness, laughter, and loving nature touched countless lives, and everyone who knew her loved her. She found joy in her family and took great pride in being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
