Jane H. Pattee
Jane Hardaway Pattee passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She was born in Morristown, New Jersey and moved to Utah in 1968 at 17 to attend the University of Utah. She graduated in 1971.
She always had a special love in her heart for the Lord and for many years loved teaching and encouraging ladies in their faith.
Jane raised three wonderful children and she especially loved being a Mom and Grandma. She loved teaching her children to read, ski, going to the zoo, gymnastics and dance lessons and attending their baseball and football games. She was always their biggest fan.
She sadly leaves behind her daughter, Kellie (Niel) and grandsons Jaxson and Lachlan, son Brian (Lisa) and granddaughters Ayla and Naomi, and son Kevin (Jenny).
Jane also leaves behind Paul Allard. In their 24 years together they enjoyed many adventures including Africa and climbing Kilimanjaro, trekking Nepal to Everest Base Camp, touring through Europe as well as trips to Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean. They climbed The Grand Teton and Jane climbed Mt Whitney. They crossed the Grand Canyon north to south rim five different times and Jane completed six mountain marathons along the Wasatch Front. She loved having a beautiful flower garden, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors with Paul. Together they spent 18 summers on Maui surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling and enjoying the ocean and hiking across Haleakala Crater. The rest of the year they enjoyed the life they made together in Park City and St. George Utah.
Jane also leaves behind Paul’s daughters, Michelle and Jennifer (Shane) Cody and Ellie.
