Bradford Lee Gandy

Bradford Lee Gandy was born in Fort Wainwright, Alaska on Monday, February 21st, 1994 to
Max and Janice Gandy. They were the youngest of their six children and came home to a full
and loving house. They loved the color green as a kid and carried it with them throughout their
life: painting the walls of their home varying shades of green. With a military father serving in
the Air Force, Bradford moved to many states including Alaska, Illinois, and Arizona before
settling in Utah. Throughout their life, Bradford’s love for friends and family grew along with
a desire to improve relationships. They also gained a deep love and respect for the things that
connect us all. Bradford loved cooking for and with others, and Thanksgiving was their
favorite. They loved conversations about the cosmos and time, along with reading books that
expanded their knowledge, and nurturing plants. They enjoyed spending time with loved ones:
playing games, winning trivia, or just talking for hours on end. Those who love Bradford
remember them as the person that always made them feel comfortable; the one who sought
out the wallflowers and underdogs; the one who always gave the most thoughtful gifts. Bradford’s laughter and kind eyes will forever be imprinted on those that had the joy of truly knowing them.

After many years of personal struggles, Bradford chose to leave this world during the early
hours of Monday, August 17th, 2026 at the age of 32.

The family has asked that in lieu of
flowers, loved ones donate to a suicide prevention cause of their choice (such as The Trevor
Project).

A closed memorial service will be held in their honor with those closest to Bradford
to remember and honor Bradford’s life and love.
