Marilyn J McGuckin Veach

Marilyn Jeannine Wopschall Veach passed away on September 2, 2026.

Marilyn was born September 25, 1950, in Medford, Oregon to Max Walter Wopschall and Louise Standish Bates. She spent her younger years in Eagle Point, Oregon and attended Eagle
Point schools. After high school she went to business school in Medford, but eventually moved to Nevada where she was a corrections officer with the Las Vegas Police Department.

In 2023 her son, James Edward Brown, preceded her in death. She is survived by her three siblings Marcia Kezer, Maxine Marsolini, Melvin Wopschall, and many nieces and nephews.

After retiring she moved to her property in Montello, Nevada where she spent the remainder of her years with her “critters” as she fondly referred to her dogs and cats. Marilyn will be missed.
As she’d say in every phone call or card, “Take care, and have a good one.”

There will be no public service but contributions can be given to your favorite animal rescue shelter.
