Dennis Earl Hopkins

Dennis E. Hopkins, 69 passed away October 12, 2026, at University of Utah Hospital, Salt
Lake City, Utah.

Dennis was born November 2, 1956, in Sheridan Wyoming. He spent most of his adult
years living and working in Nevada.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, he is survived by three
siblings, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Dennis was very independent; he had a big heart always trying to help people in need. He
had several collections and was an avid collector. He loved to read the Star Wars book
series, listened to Christian Rock and worked on several hobbies.

Dennis loved holidays and always decorated his yard and home for Halloween and
Christmas. He truly got so much joy when children came to see his decorations.

His ultimate joy in life was being Santa Claus every holiday season.

He loved and was loved greatly and will be missed by all that knew him.
