1928 - 2026
Raymond Richard Hardle

Raymond Richard Hardle son of Johann Adam Hardle and Anna Elizabeth Heppel passed peacefully of natural causes on October 22, 2026 at 5:22 pm. He passed just twelve days after the passing of his beloved wife, Pauline Naillon. Ray was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was sealed to Pauline for time and eternity. Together they shared fifty-seven years of marriage. Previously Ray was married to Betty Mae Boschert for a period of eighteen years. Together they had seven children for a total of 12. Ray had another marriage. His first was to Betty Jean Michael. They were married for 2.5 years and had a stillborn son named Ray Hardle Jr.

Ray's life was full of fun and adventure, but what he loved most was being with family and friends. He is engraven upon our hearts forever and will be sorely missed. Dad loved life and being raised in Montana herding sheep, cattle, riding horses, enjoying the outdoors and especially fishing for brook trout, his favorite to eat. He loved music and hymns and picked them out on his guitar. He also packed his harmonica around and played it at any opportunity brightening up anyone's day. He took to the strangers and homeless and was a friend to all. He felt at home on a dirt road with a Coleman stove and anyone to cook a meal for. Ray's favorite book was The Book of Mormon which he would share with any stranger. He taught us to fast and pray and to trust in Jesus. He also loved to work in the temple as a veil worker. Children: Raymond Jr Hardle, Jimmy Dean Hardle, David John Hardle, Leonard Richard Hardle, Pamela Jean Bedard, Julie Hardle Wilson, Brenda Therese Lamm, Karen Christine Hardle, Tammy Lett, Colette Back, Cindy Beason, Pete Hardle, Anita Dickinson; surviving siblings, Elizabeth (Betty) Lambert and Daniel (Dan) Hardle and many great and grand children which he loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life for Ray will be held Saturday, November 7th, 11:00 am, at the LDS Chapel located at 4715 South and 4300 West, West Valley City, Utah. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their favorite memories, stories and experiences.
