Beloved father, husband, son, brother and uncle has left this world in peace.
Steve was a man with a big heart and kind smile whom expressed care and compassion deeply for all those around him. Steve passed at his childhood home on December 11, 2023. Born November 7, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard and Sherry Wells.
A graduate of SLCC earning degrees in graphic design and art.
Steve was a successful business man and artist known for his outside of the box creativity as a designer.
Steve was a brilliant graphic designer and master of modern technology. His fondness for modern computer technology was expressed through his avid gaming. His generosity was evident by bringing peace to those in search of family through help with genealogy. As an artist and storm chaser, he would sit and do paintings of southern Utah with the most beautiful troposphere. His mastery of the Utah sky expressed his joy of the colors of sky blue. He found joy listening to his favorite band, Grateful Dead. Steve loved the great outdoors and enjoyed spending time in southern Utah running rivers, fishing, and going to all of national parks of his home state. His light shined when surrounded by family and his beloved pets.
He shared his laughter through funny songs and stories, entertaining us always bringing smiles to everyone around him.
Steven Richard Wells is survived by his wife Sherri D. Wells; daughter Kristina Wells (Kiley Anderson); mother Sherry Wells brother Joshua Wells (Eva Wells); nieces Olivia and Lillian. Proceeded in death by Richard Wells; father.
Steven is very loved and will be deeply missed. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial service we are holding to honor his memory. His celebration of life ceremony date and location will be announced. We invite anyone who loved Steve to attend and share memories of his beautiful life.
